Background
Peter has worked as an engineer in automotive software and system testing since 2017. Testing is about not trusting the headline: checking what a system really does, under real conditions, and documenting it so others can follow. That habit is the idea behind Magelo and its detective, Mister Magelo.
In 2022 Peter founded visseo, an agency for search engine optimisation and AI visibility, which also operates Magelo.
Role at Magelo
Peter designed and built Magelo and decides how it recommends products. He is responsible for the published product summaries, shopping guides and comparisons, and for corrections when something is wrong.
How the content is made
Pages on Magelo are written with the help of AI and checked and published by Peter. Specs come from manufacturers’ published figures, prices from the retailers’ own data, and review sections summarise points commonly raised in professional reviews.
