When is Black Friday 2026?
Black Friday falls on Friday 27 November 2026 and Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November. In Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and France, many shops run a whole Black Week or even Black November, with new deals almost every day.
Some shops already lower prices in early November. The best prices are usually on Black Friday itself and on Cyber Monday, but popular models can sell out quickly.
How to spot a fake discount
Not every red price tag is a real deal. Some shops raise prices in the weeks before Black Friday, or compare their price with a manufacturer's list price that nobody actually pays.
Since 2022, EU rules say that a shop advertising a price reduction must show the lowest price of the previous 30 days as the reference. That helps, but it does not show the full picture.
- Compare with the price history, not with the crossed-out price.
- Be careful with "up to 70 %": that usually applies to a few items only.
- Check that it is the same model: Black Friday versions sometimes have less storage or older chips.
- Compare several shops: the same product is often cheaper elsewhere.
